KYNG Dropping New Project L.A.M.E. August 28th

For months fans of the local collective DIM 136 have been speculating when we might see a full length body of work come from an artist within the group. Following their impressive collaborative performance for Upstate Aesthetics "Live from Yo Timeline" event fans have also been heavily anticipating a group outing as well. In early August the anticipation was finally able to begin as Dim 136 artist Kyng announced he would be dropping his first full length project onto all DSPs in late August.

In mid August Kyng made the official announcement that fans could expect his debut project “L.A.M.E” short for Let’s Approach My Environment on Friday August 28th. The eight track project features Dim 136’s own in house prodigy of a producer Process taking the reins on production of the entire project which translates to a high professional sounding project. Of the eight tracks only two include features and they come at the tail end of the project, with Kyng handling all of the heavy lifting throughout the majority of the project. The seventh track on the project “Bad Vibe” features fellow Dim 136 representative P.S. as well as budding Hip-hop / Pop artist Sheridan Carter Crane. The final track on the project titled “Me & Mines” features one of upstate's most highly touted and well known lyrical artists Anthony Kannon.

Process and Kyng will undoubtedly come together to create a pristine sounding project full of lyrical content that's sure to leave the listener entertained and ready for more. With only eight tracks and a stellar lineup of features L.A.M.E looks to be a very promising debut from one of Upstate's more unknown commodity’s Kyng. Peep the track list for L.A.M.E below and make sure to stream the project when it officially releases on August 28th!
