Bulldogs victorious in Season Finale

Chris Cartwright lead The Binghamton Bulldogs (20-5) to a 144-108 victory over the Elmira Eagles (3-20). The Bulldogs lead for a majority of the first half but with three minutes left in the second quarter the Eagles were able to tie the game at 46. By the end of the second the Bulldogs were sitting on an eight point lead over the Eagles 60-52.
The Bulldogs dominated the Eagles in the third quarter ending the quarter with a 16-0 run leaving the Bulldogs ahead of the Eagles 103-80. The Bulldogs did not let up during the fourth keeping a 30 point lead nearly the entire quarter. The Bulldogs were victorious over the Eagles 144-108.
The Bulldogs were lead by the excellent play of Chris Cartwright who continued his string of games with a double double scoring 44 points with 10 assists. Cartwright wasn't carrying the team alone as Derek Hart, Brandon Alexander,Johnny Marsh and Ralph Bucci all contributed to the victory as well. Hart, Alexander, and Marsh each scored at least 20 points while Bucci was responsible for double-digit rebounds.
The Davis College Gym was jam packed for an exciting home finale for the Bulldogs who are now gearing up for the ABA playoffs. After winning five straight to close out the season the team is hopeful they can continue to ride this momentum through the playoffs and into the ABA championship game.
