Carlito "ReyJefe" Black is a rap artist raised in Brooklyn NY after being born in Virginia. Black has been making music since his early teens but only recently started to work on it professionally. Black has mentioned that he has a number of influences in Hip Hop including 50 Cent, Cassidy, Joe Budden, Jay Z, and many more. These influences helped prepare him to create his first project "Waking the Dead Vol. 1". In 2018 Black focused his attention on a project titled  "TheGeminiEffect" which is available on Spotify & Soundcloud. Through early 2019 Black has been seen in the studio working on his next project currently titled "Outta Character" which features his latest track "In My Birkin".
