Anthony Kannon is a versatile hip hop artist from Ithaca, NY. Kannon has an underground east coast sound with a mainstream vibe. His life events inspired him to tell his story through poetry and later influences from artists like Eminem and Royce da 5'9 pushed him to begin rapping. Kannon released his first project in 2014 however the mixtape was only released  in physical form and distributed locally. Following the success of this physical album Kannon began crafting a more official project that would tell the story of his personal journey. In 2018 Kannon finally released this project under the title 'Color Blind' which is a more personal reflection of Kannon's life and the area around him.  Kannon was on the grind during the summer of 2018 featuring on over 10 songs, including various singles and a few tracks on Zo’s 'Summer In Space'. Kannon, who frequently collaborates with Local heavyweight-Mr. McBean, represent the Ithaca music conglomerate, Smacked Records. Kannon closed out 2018 with his latest single "Ghost" and the hard work paid off with Kannon currently sitting at 4,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Kannon wasn't quiet for long in early 2019 dropping visuals for his track "Ghost". On Feb. 24th he dropped his latest single "Play Cool". Kannon is currently working on a variety of unnamed projects that look to be released in 2019.
